The moment that all of us have been waiting for since it was announced that a new album was in the works and that he had a show in Stockholm. We finally have the video. D appears to be off the drugs and isn't back in how does it feel shape but he doesn't look as crazy as he has as of late. Check out the video.

I'm gonna leave my comments to myself as to why this man is still rocking braids after all these years because I'm so happy that he's back. Even though this video wasn't anything but a jam session and not really him singing... its good to see him back!

One of the few songs I actually like from Kelly's latest album Here I Am and it doesn't hurt the chocolately Lance Gross is starring alongside her. Very cute video. Check it out below.

*le sigh* I gotta get to Paris. And uuuuum they kissed a mighty lot in this video... Can't imagine how many takes they had to do to get this and both of them looked like they were enjoying it LOL. I ain't mad!

Last week I had the pleasure of attending a cocktail party and advanced screening of season 2 of WEtv's Joan & Melissa. The season premiere was beyond hilarious. Full of Fashion Police, plastic surgery, and family follies definitely a show you don't want to miss if you are a reality show junkie like myself. Check out a sneak peek.

When meeting her the energy was evident that she is my white grandmother. Even got a quote from Vibe's Starrene Rhett (who I have to give photo credit to for the above) "I can definitely see you acting exactly like her when you are her age." hahahahaah... Love me some Joan Rivers! I can only hope to be half as funny and full of life as she is when I'm 78. Season 2 premieres Tuesday, January 24th at 9pm.

Friday I had the pleasure of putting together an event with Ne-Yo at Phillipe Chow in NYC where he introduced media to his new spirit Malibu Red (a delicious mix of Malibu Rum & Tequila) as well as the ladies of Compound (Adrienne Bailon, Ravaughn, & Loren Allred.) Check out the pics below.

Following the meet and greet Ne-Yo invited all the media in attendance to check out his new movie Red Tails with him at the AMC Theater in Time Square. If you missed my interview with him and the cast go HERE. It was a great night for all. Shout out to Andrew Fennell for the photos and big thank you to everyone that came.

Fantasia's brother drops his first mixtape on TI's Grand Hustle label and I haven't listened to it yet but it has to bring the sexy with a title playing off of the classic R. Kelly album 12 Play. Check it out below.

A nice mid tempo unreleased joint from Ne-Yo to hold you over until his new album The Cracks In Mr. Perfect drops sometime this Spring.

Make sure you check him out in the movie Red Tails this Friday, January 20th. If you missed my interview with him and the rest of the cast go HERE.

The first interview I ever walked into nervous because I thought the cast was going to be extremely serious because of the historical background of the film. I thought I was going to have to bury my goofy. That was the furthest thing from the truth. All the guys were hilarious and just as goofy as I am. I laughed from the time I walked into each room until I left.

From Terrence Howard singing "Ebony & Ivory" to me, to Elijah Kelley and Ne-Yo clowning each other, and I had no idea Cuba Gooding Jr was so goofy. This will definitely go down in the record books for one of the most fun interviews I've ever done in my life.

In this interview they talk about going through boot camp to prepare for their role, they dish on each other, and take time from the jokes to tell why it's important that everyone see this film and what they want them to take away from it.

Cuba Gooding Jr. even gives an inside scoop that Elijah Kelley, Ne-Yo, and Tristan Wilds are working on some music together. Check it out.

Make sure you go see Red Tails when it hits theaters January 20th! To check out the trailer go here.

So looks like we are finally going to get that sophomore album from Melanie Fiona on May 8th (my birthday month!!!). This ballad is a nice track to peak my interest for what more Mel has in store. Check out the song below.

The photos above are from a recent shoot she did for Rolling Out. Check out BTS from the shoot below.

I refuse to call that man Yasiin. So anyway... I love this record... silly jam session records with Badu are always a riot. Mark Ronson released the track late last year and now we have the visual that also features members of The Dap Kings, Trombone Shorty, and Zigaboo Modeliste. Check it out.

I've been a fan of her since she was a little girl. I remember seeing her live for the first time at a J Records showcase in 2004 opening up for Tyrese and Fantasia and the little girl blew me away. Ever since this she has made all kinds of mistakes trying to find herself as an artist and I haven't been feeling any of it. I guess it's the gift and the curse of having a big voice but being too young to really sing about anything of substance. Now that she is grown it seems she is finally starting to find herself musically. If she got her image together and stop rocking all these hood rat colors in her hair I might have some resurrected faith that she could still make it in this crazy music industry. I need her to keep the look that she has here. Either way I'm feeling her latest record. Check it out below.
